Happy Halloween!

So I kind of forgot that it was Halloween today because we had trick or treating on Sunday. I thought it would be fun to share Halloween pictures from the last 7 years.

2017 - Charizard (Pokemon)

2016 - Squirtle (Pokemon)

2015 - Donatello (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles)

2014 - Michelangelo (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles)

2013 - Leonardo (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles)

2012 - Link (The Legend of Zelda)

Jim made this costume.

You may or may not know that Christopher's middle name is Link.

2011 - Rooster

I made this costume.

2010 - Monkey

What was your favorite Halloween costume? Yours or your child's.

  1. He sure loves his Turtles and Pokemon, huh? Loved the look back over the years, Kate! 😊

    1. Haha. Yes. He's gotta have the most consistent costumes I've ever seen.

  2. So cute! I love all the different costumes. I think my favorite costume my son has worn would be Doctor Who. My daughter was Rainbow Dash from My Little Pony this year and it was such an adorable costume, although she was a spectacular Kitty Witch last year.

    1. Fun! I wasn't sure what your daughter was in the pictures you posted, but now that you said Rainbow Dash, I totally see it. Duh! She was super cute. Doctor Who (and Harry Potter) are pretty great too. Halloween costumes are fun. Although I hate dressing up. Haha.

  3. OMG I love this haha he is so cute!! It's awesome that his hobbies/interests have continued over multiple years for multiple costumes. I insisted on being something different each year, which probably annoyed my mom lol.

    1. Thanks, Lauren. I know! I was actually bummed when I had to buy a bigger TMNT costume, and I was really hoping he'd be all 4 turtles. Of course he skipped my favorite - Raf. Oh well. It is nice that he's interests have been consistent. I am a little worried that after this year with friends wearing more "scary" costumes, that he might move on to something darker next year. :(

  4. I'm sensing some themes here. :) That rooster is adorable. My little guy has been a lion for both of his Halloweens so far. He's got a pretty good roar this year! :)

    1. Haha. Yes, definitely themes. I loved that rooster costume, but it was a challenge to make. Christopher made really cute rooster noises at that age; that's why we picked it. I'm sure your son's roar is super cute!
